IAF Agniveer Vayu Sports Notification 2024 Out – Apply Online from 20th August to 29th August 2024: The Indian Air Force (IAF) invites online applications from unmarried male candidates to participate in recruitment trials for outstanding sportsmen as Agniveer Vayu (Sports) Intake 01/2025 under the Agnipath Scheme. Eligible sportsmen can apply online through the IAF Agniveer Vayu Online Application Portal at agnipathvayu.cdac.in on or before the closing date of 29th August 2024. Athletics, Basketball, Boxing, Cycle Polo, Cricket, Football, Cycling, Gymnastics, Handball, Hockey, Lawn Tennis, Squash, Swimming / Diving, Kabaddi, Shooting, Volleyball, Water Polo, Weightlifting, Wrestling, and Wushu.
✅ IAF Agniveer Vayu Sports Eligibility Criteria:
(a) Age Limit: Candidate born between 02 January 2004 to 02 July 2007 (both dates inclusive) are eligible to apply.
(b) Marital Status: Only Unmarried Male.
(c) Educational Qualifications:
Science Subjects: Candidates must have either passed Intermediate/10+2/Equivalent with Mathematics, Physics, and English, achieving at least 50% marks in aggregate and 50% in English (OR) Three-Year Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Automobile, Computer Science, Instrumentation Technology, or Information Technology) with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% in English (OR) Two-Year Vocational Course with Physics and Mathematics as non-vocational subjectsd, obtaining 50% marks in aggregate and 50% in English.
Other Than Science Subjects: Candidates must have either passed Intermediate/10+2/Equivalent Examination in any stream or subjects recognized by Education Boards approved by Central, State, and UT, achieving at least 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English; or completed a Two-Year Vocational Course from recognized Education Boards with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in the vocational course (or in Intermediate/Matriculation if English is not a subject in the Vocational Course).
✅ IAF Agniveer Vayu Sports Achievements:

Representation: Must have represented the country in Junior/Senior International competitions recognized by the International Olympics Committee (IOA) in any of the specified sports disciplines.

National Competition Standards: Must have achieved at least fifth place in Junior National competitions or represented their State/Union Territory in Senior National competitions, All India Inter University competitions, or SAI (Khelo India National) in any of the specified sports disciplines.

Team Events: For team sports, must have represented the state in Junior/Senior National competitions, All India Inter University Championship, or SAI (Khelo India National) in the relevant sports disciplines.

Cricket Discipline: Must have participated in All India Inter-University or BCCI Trophies (U-19, U-23, Ranji Trophy, Duleep Trophy, Deodhar Trophy) or higher-level tournaments.

Shooting Discipline: Candidates must have a National Ranking (NSCC) up to 50th in 10M Air Pistol & 10M Air Rifle or up to 30th in 50M Rifle 3P, or must have an International Medal/Participation.
✅ IAF Agniveer Vayu Sports Medical Standards:
Height: Minimum height is 152 cm.
Weight: Must be proportionate to height and age according to IAF standards.
Chest: The chest should be well-proportioned and developed. Minimum chest circumference should be 77 cm with a chest expansion of at least 5 cm.
Hearing: Must be able to hear a forced whisper from 6 meters away in each ear separately.
Dental: Should have healthy gums, a good set of teeth, and at least 14 dental points.
Visual Standards:
Visual Acuity: 6/12 in each eye, correctable to 6/6 in each eye.
Refractive Error:
- Hypermetropia: +2.0 D
- Myopia: -1 D
- Including +0.50 D Astigmatism
Colour Vision: CP-II.

The Indian Air Force (IAF) is inviting online applications from unmarried Indian male and female candidates for the selection test for Agniveervayu Intake 02/2025 under the Agnipath Scheme.
Pursuant to the new HR methodology for the induction of Agniveervayu under the 'Agnipath Scheme,' this initiative aims to provide an opportunity for the nation's youth to experience the military way of life for a period of four years. The number and employability of female candidates will be decided based on service requirements. The last date for registration of online applications is 4th August 2024.

✅ IAF Agniveer Vayu 2024 Eligibility Criteria:
Science Subjects:
(1) Candidates should have passed Matric +2 / Intermediate/ 10+2/ Equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and English from an Education Board listed as COBSE member with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. (OR)
(2) Passed 03 years Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Automobile/ Computer Science/ Instrumentation Technology/ Information Technology) from a Government recognized Polytechnic institute with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in diploma course. (OR)
(3) Passed Two years Vocational Course with non-vocational subject viz. Physics and Maths from State Education Boards/ Councils which are listed in COBSE with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in vocational course.
Other Than Science Subjects:

✅ Air Force Agniveer Vayu Exam Syllabus / Structure:
(a) Science Subjects. Total duration of the online test shall be 60 minutes and shall comprise of English, Physics and Mathematics as per 10+2 CBSE syllabus.
(b) Other Than Science Subjects: Total duration of the online test shall be 45 minutes and shall comprise of English as per 10+2 CBSE syllabus and Reasoning & General Awareness (RAGA).
(c) Science Subjects & Other Than Science Subjects: Total duration of the online test shall be 85 minutes and shall comprise of English, Physics and Mathematics as per 10+2 CBSE syllabus and Reasoning & General Awareness (RAGA).
(d) Marking pattern for online test: (i) One mark for every correct answer, (ii) Nil (0) marks for un attempted question, (iii) 0.25 marks shall be deducted for each wrong answer.
✅ IAF Agniveer Vayu Physical Standards:
✔️ Height: Minimum acceptable height is 152.5 cms
✔️ Chest: For Male and Female candidates: The chest wall should be well proportioned with minimum range of expansion of 05 cms.
✔️ Weight: Proportionate to height and age.
✔️ Hearing: Candidate should have normal hearing i.e. able to hear forced whisper from a distance of 6 meters with each ear separately.
✔️ Dental: Should have healthy gums, good set of teeth and minimum 14 dental points.
✔️ Visual Standards: 6/12 each eye, correctable to 6/6 each eye.
✔️ Corneal Surgery (PRK/LASIK) is not acceptable.
✔️ General Health: Candidate should be of normal anatomy without loss of any appendages. He should be free from any active or latent, acute or chronic, medical or surgical disability or infection and skin ailments. Candidate shall be physically and mentally FIT to perform duty in any part of the world, in any climate and terrain.
✔️ Gynaecological Examination (For female candidates): The examination covers external genitalia, hernia orifices and the perineum, any evidence of stress urinary incontinence or genital prolapse outside introitus.
