UPSC Lateral Entry Notification 2024 - 45 Director, Secretary Posts [Cancelled]

The UPSC Lateral Entry scheme, Advertisement No. 54/2024, invites online applications for positions at the Joint Secretary and Director/ Deputy Secretary levels across various Ministries and Departments in New Delhi. The Government of India seeks talented and motivated Indian nationals for Lateral Recruitment of following posts in different Ministries/ Departments with Headquarters at New Delhi on Contract Basis (On Deputation). Eligible candidates apply online through Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Online Recruitment Portal (ORA) Portal. The last date for submission of online applications is 17th September 2024.

On 20th August 2024, the UPSC Commission canceled the lateral recruitment for 45 posts as requested by the Central Government Authority.

✔️ Director Level: 35 to 45 years
✔️ Deputy Secretary Level: 32 to 40 years

UPSC Recruitment 2024 Pay Scales:

✔️ Joint Secretary Level: Pay Level-14 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC (Approximate Gross Salary: ₹ 2,70,000/-)
✔️ Director Level: Pay Level-13 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC (Approximate Gross Salary: ₹2,32,000/-)
✔️ Deputy Secretary Level: Pay Level-12 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC (Approximate Gross Salary: ₹ 1,52,000/-)

✔️ Master’s degree in Agriculture.
✔️ Master’s Degree.
✔️ B.E. / B.Tech.
✔️ MBBS.
✔️ Bachelor's Degree / Master’s Degree in Law.
✔️ Experience - 07 - 15 years relevant field.
