NCCR Chennai Recruitment 2021: Government of India, Ministry of Earth Sciences (MoES), National Centre for Coastal Research (NCCR), NIOT Campus, Velachery-Tambaram Main Road, Pallikaranai, Chennai - 600100 invites applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of following temporary project positions for various programs such as Coastal Process and Hazards, Marine Pollution and Marine Litter, Ecosystem and Critical Habitats, and Marine Spatial Planning. The posts are purely on temporary and on contract basis, initially for a period of 1 year and may likely to be extended, based on the performance review and based on the project requirements. ✅ Educational Qualification and Experience:
Project Scientists:
✔️ Master’s Degree in relevant discipline or equivalent. At least first class not less than 60% marks.
✔️ B.E. / B.Tech in Civil / Computer Science / IT / Geomatics / Geoinformatics/ Remote Sensing or equivalent discipline.
✔️ Minimum 03 years relevant experience for Project Scientist II.
SRF:
✔️ Master’s Degree in Marine Science / Marine Chemistry / Chemical Oceanography /
Analytical Chemistry / Microbiology / Life Sciences / Zoology / Marine Biology / Life Science or equivalent.
✔️ NET/CSIR-UGC NET/GATE qualification with two years experience.
Technical Assistant:
✔️ Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry.
Field Assistant:
✔️ Degree in Science or Diploma in Engineering.
✔️ Must have knowledge of swimming and skin diving.
✔️ Working experience.
✅ Selection Process: Online Interview.
