Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya Sangathan (OAVS) has published an Indicative Notification for the Recruitment of Principals and Teachers in OAVS in the State of Odisha. On 1st April 2024, The OAVS will release a detailed official notification and an online application link for Teachers' recruitment. The OAVS, under the School & Mass Education Department, Government of Odisha, invites Online Applications from prospective candidates for filling up 1342 posts of Principals and Teachers of different disciplines in Odisha Adarsha Vidyalayas (OAVs) and 44 posts of Principals and Teachers in Odisha Mining Adarsha Vidyalayas (OMAVs) on a direct recruitment basis.
The OAVS Teachers and Principals 2024 Apply Online will be made through the Official website oav.edu.in from 1st April 2024. The last date for completion of online registration is 30th April 2024.

✅ OAVS Recruitment 2024 Age Limit:
✔️ For Principal: 32 to 50 years.✔️ For all other posts: 21 to 32 years.
✔️ In case of SC/ST, Women, SEBC, the upper age limit shall be relaxed by 5 years and in case of PH candidates the upper age limit shall be relaxed by 10 years.
✅ OAVS Recruitment 2024 Salary:
✔️ Principal: ₹ 67,700/- Level-13✔️ PGT: ₹ 47,600/- Level-11
✔️ TGT: ₹ 44,900/- Level-10
✔️ PET: ₹ 35,400/- Level-09
✅ OAVS Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualifications:
✔️ The candidate must have passed MIL Odia up to ME standard.✔️ The candidates who have not passed Odia up to M.E Standard can apply, but they have to pass the examination (odia upto M.E Standard) conducted by BSE, Odisha, Cuttack within three years from the date of joining.
✔️ Candidates must have Master’s Degree/Bachelor Degree in Arts/ Science with Bachelor Degree in Education from any University of the State as applicable for different posts.
✔️ All candidates for the post of TGTs (TGT Odia, TGT English, TGT Math, TGT Science, TGT SST) must have passed OSSTET / OTET-Paper-II conducted by BSE / CTET -Paper-II conducted by CBSE in accordance with the guidelines framed by the NCTE.
Other Eligibility:
(a) Must be a Citizen of India.
(b) Must be of sound mind.
(c) Must not be having more than one spouse living.
