✅ UP NHM CHO Age Limit:
✔️ For Community Health Officer Posts - Minimum 21 years and Maximum 40 years as on 7th February 2024.
✔️ Upper Age Limit is relaxed by: 03 Years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) / 05 Years for SC/ST / Plus 10 years for Persons with Disabilities.
✅ UP NHM CHO Salary:
The appointed candidate will serve as a Community Health Officer (CHO) on a contractual basis at sub-center level Health and Wellness Centers (HWCs), receiving a monthly honorarium of ₹20,500 and up to ₹15,000 as a Performance-Based Incentive (PBI) after being posted in the allocated district, following the guidelines issued by the Government of India.

✅ UP NHM CHO Eligibility Criteria:
(1) Candidates eligible to apply must have successfully completed either B.Sc. (Nursing) with an integrated curriculum of Certificate in Community Health for Nurses (CCHN) or Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) with an integrated curriculum of Certificate in Community Health for Nurses (CCHN) from an Institute or University recognized by the Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing Council, starting from the academic year 2020 onwards.
(2) For clarification on the academic year relevant to the Integration of middle-level health providers (MLHP), candidates should have undergone the 4th year of B.Sc. Nursing and the 2nd year of Post B.Sc. Nursing in the year 2019-20 or later, and they must have successfully passed the course.
(3) The Candidates must be registered with the UP Nurses & Midwives Council. However, candidates with registration in another State's Nursing Council as Nurse and Midwife are also eligible to apply.
✅ UP NHM CHO Selection Process:
The selection process for UP NHM CHO 2024 will be solely merit-based, considering the percentage of total marks achieved in High School, Intermediate, as well as the theory and practical components of all years in the B.Sc. (Nursing)/Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) Examination. Additionally, candidates will receive a COVID experience weightage, with 85 marks allocated for performance in High School, Intermediate, and all years of the integrated CCHN B.Sc. Nursing/PB B.Sc. Nursing, and 15 marks specifically for COVID-related experience.
