Government of India, Ministry of Railways, Western Railway, Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Mumbai invites online applications from eligible sportspersons for fill up 21 Group C posts and 43 Erstwhile Group D posts in various game disciplines against Sports Quota through Opening Advertisement for the year 2024-25. ✅ Age Limit:
✔️ Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years as on 01/01/2025. Candidates born between 02/01/2000 and 01/01/2007 (both days inclusive) should only apply.
✅ Eligibility Criteria:

✅ Sports Achievements:
(a) Only those sportspersons who have acquired the following sports achievement eligibility norms in the championship from 01/04/2022 to the date of notification and are active will be eligible to apply for appointment against Sports Quota.
(b) For validity of sports achievement, concluding day of the championship/event shall be taken into account.
(c) The specific position played in the particular discipline, if applicable should be mentioned in the Online Application without fail.
✅ Selection Process:
✔️ Trails: For game skill, physical fitness & coach’s observations during Trials.
✔️ Assessment of Sports Achievements, Educational Qualification.
✔️ Documents Verification.
✅ Examination Fee: The candidates are required to pay fees through online payment gateway using Net Banking or Debit / Credit Card.
✔️ ₹ 250/- for SC / ST / Ex-Servicemen / Women, Minorities and Economic BC Candidates.
✔️ ₹ 500/- for all other category candidates.
✔️ No fee for Minorities and Economically Backward Classes.
✅ How to Apply:
➢ Eligible Candidates should apply online through Western Railway Official website (rrc-wr.com). The Candidates should be in possession of Aadhaar Card at the time of registration. Candidates have to fill 12 digits Aadhaar Card number.
➢ The candidates should upload self attested copy of required documents (Photograph, Signature, Educational Qualification, DoB Certificate, Caste Certificate etc.)
➢ The last date for registration of online applications is 21/09/2024 up to 6:00 pm.
