Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Northern Railway, New Delhi, invites applications from eligible Indian citizens for direct recruitment by selection in Level 2 of Pay Matrix 7th CPC against the Cultural Quota for the year 2024. The online registration for Northern Railway Cultural Quota 2024 will be open from 31st January 2024 and will close on 29th February 2024.

Age Limit: 18 to 30 Years as on 1st July 2019. The Upper Age Limit is relaxable for 05 Years in case of SC / ST Candidates and 03 Years in case of OBC Candidates, Serving Railway Employees on Completion of 03 Years regular Railway Service are eligible up to 40 Years for UR, 45 Years of age for SC / ST and 43 Years of age of OBC.
Pay Scale: Level 2 of Pay Matrix 7th CPC.
Essential Qualification:
(1) 12th (Matric +2 stage) or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate. 50% marks is not to be insisted upon in case of SC/ST/Ex-SM candidates and candidates who possess qualification higher than 12th (+2 stages).
(2) Typing proficiency in English/Hindi on computer is essential.
(3) (i) For Drama Artist – Candidate should possess Degree/ Diploma/ Certificate in Drama from Govt. recognized institute. (ii) For Classical Singer (Male/ Female) - Candidate Should Possess Degree/ Diploma/ Certificate in Hindustani Vocal Music from Govt.recognized institute.
Desirable Qualification:
(1) Experience in the field and performance on AIR / Doordarshan etc.
(2) Prizes won at National Level.
Exam Fee: ₹ 250/- for candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ Ex. Servicemen/ Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), Women, Minorities and Economically Backward Classes. ₹ 500/- for all other candidates. The examination fee is to be paid through Online Mode Only.
Place of Posting: Selected candidates will be posted over Northern Railway.
Selection Process: Written Test (Objective Type) and Assistant of Talent in the relevant filed and Medical Examination.

Eligible Candidate has to fill up the online application through Northern Railway RRC website (rcnr.org) from 31st January 2024. The candidates should fill all required details and upload photo-copies of required documents / certificates (Date of Birth, Essential Educational & Cultural Qualification, Community Certificate). The closing date for online registration is 29/02/2024 up to 12:00 Hours.
