Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will be announce official recruitment notification of SSC Constable GD Recruitment 2017. The SSC Constable Exam 2017 Notification should be available from 5th August 2017. The SSC will commence Constable GD Examination from 30th January 2018 to 5th February 2017. The SSC Constable recruitment 2017-18 for filling up above 5000 Vacancies in ITBP, BSF, CISF, CRPF and Assam Rifles.

Government of India, Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Recruitment Examination of Constable (GD) in CAPFs and Rifleman in Assam Rifles 2015. Part-I Online Registration close on 21st February 2015 and Part-II Registration close on 23rd February 2015.

Online Applications are invited form eligible Indian Nationals for filling up 62390 Vacancies approximately in Constable (GD) in the Indo Tibet Border Police Force (ITBP), Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), National Investigation Agency (NIA) And SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles – 2015.

Police Force wise Vacancies: BSF - 22517 (Male - 17698, Female - 4819), CISF - 5000 (Male - 4493, Female - 507), CRPF - 24588 (Male - 22623, Female - 1965), SSB - 6224 (Male - 5619, Female - 605), ITBP - 3101 (Male - 2795, Female - 306), Assam Riffle - 600 (Male - 300, Female - 300), NIA - 86 (Male - 82, Female - 04), SSF - 274 (Male - 247, Female - 27).

Age Limit: 18-23 years as on 01.08.2015. Candidates should not have been born earlier than 02.08.1992 and not later than 01.08.1997. Age Relaxation - 05 Years for SC/ST, OBC - 03 Years. Age Relaxation for others as per Govt Rules.

Educational Qualification: Matriculation (10th Class) or equivalent from  a recognized board/university.

Physical Standards:

Height -> Male - 170 Cms, Female - 157 Cms.
Chest -> Male Only - Unexpanded - 80 Cms, Expanded - Minimum expansion 5 Cms.
Weight -> Proportionate to Height and Age as per Medical Standards.

Application Fee: Rs.50/- by means of "Central Recruitment Fee Stamps(CRFS)" only. CRFS stamps are available at the counter of all Departmental Post Offices of the country (OR) SBI Pay Challan (OR) Online Payment. No fee for SC/ST Category, Women and Ex-Servicemen Candidates.

Selection Process: Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Written Exam and Medical Examination. Written Examination (Exam Code - CCBS 2015). The Exam is scheduled to be held on 04/10/2015.

(A) Physical Standard Test(PST)/ Physical Efficiency Test (PET) –>  Candidates who are found eligible on height parameters will undergo PET (race) followed by biometric identification & screening of testimonials and thereon chest and weight measurements by a board.

(B) Written Examination -> The Commission will conduct written examination of candidates qualified in PST/PET in both online and off-line mode. The candidates will have to opt for On-line or Off-line mode of Examination in the application form. All questions will be of Objective Multiple Choice Type. For Off-line Examination, Questions will be set bilingually in Hindi and English/ Trilingually in English and Hindi/Kashmiri (Urdu Script for J&K), Marathi(Maharashtra), Gujarati(Gujarat), Malayalam(Kerala), Kannada(Karnataka), Telegu (Andhra Pradesh),Tamil (Tamil Nadu), Oriya(Odisha), Bengali(West Bengal and Tripura), Punjabi (Gurmukhi script for Punjab),Assamese (Assam & Arunachal Pradesh),Manipuri(Manipur) and Mizo(Mizoram). The written examination will consist of one objective type paper containing 100 questions carrying 100 marks [Duration – 2 Hours], with the following composition:-
