Qualification and Experience:
Launch Mechanic ->
(1) 10th Standard (Matric) pass or equivalent.
(2) 05 years service on seagoing vessel with one year independent charge of engine and auxiliary machinery.
Sukhani ->
(1) 10th Standard pass or equivalent
(2) 07 years service on sea going vessel with 2 years experience in independent handling of mechanized craft fitted with auxiliary sails.
Seaman ->
(1) Tenth Standard pass or equivalent.
(2) 03 years experience in sea going mechanized vessels with two years in helmsman and seamanship work.
Greaser ->
(1) Tenth Standard pass or equivalent.
(2) 03 years experience in sea going mechanized vessels on main and auxiliary machinery maintenance.
Tradesman ->
(1) 10th Standard pass or equivalent.
(2) ITI certificate in Mechanical/ Diesel/ Mechani/ Fitter/ Turner/ Welder/ Electrician/ Instrumental/ Carpentry.
(3) 2 years experience in Engineering/ Automobile/ Ship Repair Organisation.
How to Apply: The Application form in the prescribed Form in A4 size paper alongwith attested photo copies of educational qualification, proof of age, category, essential and desirable certificates etc. wherever necessary and three passport size photographs and two self addressed unstamped envelopes of 25x12 cms are to be send to The Additional Commissioner(P&V) O/o The Commissioner Customs, Customs House, 110 MG Road, Shillong - 793001, Meghalaya by ordinary/ speed post only. The envelope should be superscribed with the words "Application for the post of ______". The Application form complete in all respect must reach on or before 15/08/2017.
