Educational and Technical Qualifications:

Assistant, Reader / Examiner, Xerox Operator -> Any Bachelor's Degree (Graduate - 10+2+3 or 11+1+3 Pattern) in Arts, Science, Commerce, Engineering, Medicine or any other discipline from a recognized institute / university.

Computer Operator -> Bachelor Degree in Computer Science (B.Sc. CS) or Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) - 10+2+3 or 11+1+3 Pattern. (OR) Any Degree with Diploma in Computer Applications (DCA) from any recognized university.

Typist -> (a) Any Bachelor's Degree (10+2+3 or 11+1+3 Pattern) in Arts, Science, Commerce, Engineering, Medicine or any other discipline. (b) Must have passed Higher Grade of Type writing in Tamil and English from Government Technical examination. (c) Must have passed the certificate course in Computer on Office Automation conducted by the DTE.

Examination Fee: ₹ 300/- (for each post) for BC, BCM, MBC, DC and others; No fee for SC, SC (A), ST and Differently Abled Persons and Destitute Widow of all communities.

Selection Process: Written Examination, English Language Proficiency Test and Oral Test.

Eligibility:

(1) Candidate should be a Graduate in Law (under 10+2+3+3 or 10+2+5 pattern) from the recognized Universities in the Indian Union and recognized by the Bar Council of India for admission as Advocate or Attorney of an Indian Court.
(2) Candidates who have passed all his/her Examinations, while studying law, within the duration of their course are alone eligible to apply.
(3) Candidates who have obtained his/her Law Degree during the academic years 2016-2017 and 2017-2018, are only eligible to apply for the assignment as Law Clerk to the Hon'ble Judges.
(4) Candidates pursuing Post Graduate Degree in Law or any other Degrees or Programmes requiring their compulsory attendance elsewhere are not eligible to apply for the assignment as Law Clerk.

Selection Process: The eligible candidates will have to appear for Viva Voce Test held at Chennai.
