Educational Qualifications:
| Technical Assistants –> | Bachelor’s Degree in concerned discipline. |
| Technician –> | Matric / 12th class or Intermediate pass in science subject with 55% marks and at least 01 year Diploma in concerned discipline. |
| Lab Attendant –> | 10th pass with 50% marks or ITI / Trade certificate in concerned trade. |
| Staff Car Driver –> | Matric / SSC or equivalent qualification. |

Qualification and Experience:
Technical Assistant (Zoology) ->
(1) Three years Bachelor Degree in Zoology from a recognized University,
(2) One year Certificate/ Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) or one year experience in the laboratory/ field in the lower scale in Govt Department/ Institution.
Technical Assistant (Microbiology) ->
(1) Three years Bachelor Degree in Microbiology from a recognized University.
(2) One year Certificate/Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) or one year experience in microbiology/ molecular biology/ bio-chemistry/ toxicology/ biotechnology in the lower scale in Govt Department/ Institution.
Technical Assistant (Sociology) ->
(1) Three years Bachelor Degree in Sociology from a recognized University.
(2) Diploma/ Certificate course in Sociology or one year experience in community based surveys and quantitative & qualitative data collection in the lower scale in the Govt Department/ Institution.
Technician 'C' ->
(1) 12th pass with biological science subject or equivalent from a recognized board with one year Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT)/ Sanitation/ Public Health Science from Govt recognized Organizations/ Institutes/ Medical Colleges, and one year experience in Medical Laboratory Technology/ Public Health/ Sanitation in a recognized Institute. (OR)
(2) 12th pass with biological science subject with two years Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT)/ Sanitation/ Public Health Science.
Stenographer ->
(1) 10th/ Matriculation pass or its equivalent examination.
(2) 80 w.p.m. speed in English shorthand.
(3) 45 w.p.m. in English typewriting on manual typewriter (or) typing speed of 45 words per minute on computer.
Technician 'A' (Engineering Support) ->
(1) 10th/ Matric pass or equivalent with ITI or National Trade Certificate (NTC) issued by National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) and successful completion of All India Trade Test (ATS) in Instrument Mechanic from Govt, recognized Board or Institute.
Technician 'A' ->
(1) 10th or equivalent from a recognized board with one year certificate in Medical Laboratory Technology from a Govt, recognized Institute (OR)
(2) 01 year laboratory/ field/ clinical experience of working in a Govt Laboratory/ Govt Recognized Institution.
LDC ->
(1) 12th pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University.
(2) A typing speed of 30 words per minute in English or 25 words per minute in Hindi on manual typewriter (or) a typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on computer (35 words per minute and 30 words per minute correspond to 10500 KDPH/9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word).
MTS ->
(1) Pass in Matriculation/ High School/ 10th Standard or equivalent from a recognized board.
Selection Process: Competitive Written Test / Competitive Proficiency Test / Typing Skill Test
Application Fee: A Demand Draft for ₹ 300/- drawn in favour of "The Director, Vector Control Research Centre, Puducherry" payable at Puducherry being the application fee, should be enclosed along with the application. SC/ST, PwD and Women candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.

Self attested copies of certificates in proof of Date of birth, Educational qualification {Certificate/ Statement of marks), Disability certificate (PwD), Community certificate (SC/ST/OBC), Service certificate (Ex-Servicemen) must be enclosed with the application.
