IIAP Eligibility Criteria:
✔️ Age Limit (as on 07/07/2025):
Maximum 30 years. Age relaxation as per Government of India rules for SC/ST/OBC/PwD/Ex-Servicemen candidates.
✔️ Educational Qualifications and Experience:
(1) Scientific Assistant: Full-time Bachelor’s degree in Physics/Mathematics from a recognized University/Institute with 2 years of relevant experience in science communication (Astronomy/Physics/General Science).
(2) Junior Technical Officer: Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (DEE) from AICTE-recognized institutes with 3 years’ experience in LED display systems, electrical power systems, building management systems, and technical documentation.
(3) Junior Technical Officer: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME) from AICTE-recognized institutes with 3 years’ experience in HVAC systems, mechanical systems, CAD tools (AUTODESK INVENTOR/SOLID WORKS), and technical documentation.
IIAP Selection Process:
✔️ Initial Screening: Based on essential qualifications and experience.
✔️ Written Test and/ or Skill Test: For Scientific Assistant (Physics/Astronomy syllabus, including General English, aptitude, and domain knowledge) and Junior Technical Officer (Electrical/Mechanical engineering syllabus, practical skill tests). Tests conducted in Bengaluru.
✔️ Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates must produce original certificates.
