NITRD Recruitment Age Limit:
- Specialist Grade-II (Pathology): Up to 48 years (including 3 years relaxation for OBC); relaxable up to 5 years for Government servants as per Central Government rules.
- Medical Officer: Up to 40 years; relaxable up to 5 years for Government servants as per Central Government rules.

(Path), Speciality Board of Pathology (USA), DCP, DPB, or equivalent; OR Diploma in Clinical Pathology.
- Medical Officer: Medical qualification included in the I or II schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (Part II holders must meet sub-section (3) of section 13 conditions). Must be registered with State/Central Medical Council. Desirable: Post Graduate Diploma/Degree in Chest, TB, and allied Diseases; Experience in TB Control Programme. Qualifications relaxable at the discretion of the Competent Authority for well-qualified candidates.
NITRD Recruitment Experience Requirements:
- Specialist Grade-II (Pathology): Three years experience after obtaining the first Postgraduate Degree; OR Five years experience in the concerned speciality after obtaining the qualifying diploma.
- Medical Officer: Desirable experience in TB Control Programme (not mandatory).
