Educational Qualifications:
Dean -> Post Graduate & Doctoral Degree in any branch of Veterinary Science. 10 Years experience as Professor / Associate Professor, out of which five years as Professor or equivalent.
Professor -> B.V.Sc.& A.H. with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade. Master degree in the concerned discipline with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade in the point scale. Ph.D. in the concerned discipline. 10 years of teaching / research /extension experience of which at least 3 years should be as associate professor or equivalent excluding the period for doing Ph.D.
Associate Professor -> B.V.Sc. & A.H. with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade in the point scale. Master degree in the concerned discipline with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade in the point scale. Ph.D. in the concerned allied discipline. 8 years of Teaching /Research /Extension experience of which at least 3 years should be as assistant professor or equivalent excluding the period for doing Ph.D.
Assistant Professor -> B.V.Sc. & A.H. with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade in the point scale. Master degree in the concerned discipline with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade in the point scale. NET qualification compulsory as per ICAR/UGC rules.
Eligibility: A recognized veterinary qualifications included in the first and second schedule in Indian Veterinary Council Act; 1984 & must be registered with a State Veterinary Council/ Veterinary Council of India.
Pay Scale: Salary against the pay scales will be applicable as under UGC/ICAR/State Govt. rules.
