Indian Army invites applications from eligible Indian Nationals for recruitment as Havildar Surveyor Automated Cartographer in the Army. The Last date of submission of application is 20th September 2014.

Educational Qualification: BA/B.Sc with Mathematics or BE / B Tech, having passed 12th Class (10+2) or equivalent with Science and Mathematics as main subjects from a Recognised Board/University.
Physical Standard: Minimum physical standards will be as applicable to the Soldier (General Duty) category. These very depending upon the region of the country. The country has been divided into six regions, e.g Western Himalayan Region, Eastern Himalayan Region, Western Plains Region, Eastern Plains Region, Central Region and Southern Region. The details can be obtained from the nearest HQ Recruiting Zone/Army Recruitment Office/IRO.
Selection Process: Screening, Physical Fitness Test and Written Examination
(a) Screening -> Screening of the candidates will be carried out from 27 - 28 Oct 2014 at BEG Centre Roorkee.
(b) Physical Fitness Test -> Physical Fitness Tests applicable are as follows:-
(i) 1.6 km run in maximum 6.20 minutes.
(ii) Pull Ups (Beam) - minimum of 6.
(iii) Balance - Quality.
(iv) 9 Feet Ditc. - Quality.
(c) Written Exam -> Only those candidates selected in the screening will be permitted to appear in the written examination which will be conducted only at BEG Centre, Roorkee on 30 Oct 2014.
How To Apply: Eligible Candidates are required to submit their Application Form duly filled as per prescribed format along with all required documents duly super scribed "APPLICATION FOR HAVILDAR (SURVEYOR AUTOMATED CARTOGRAPHER)" on top outer cover of the envelope to BENGAL ENGINEER GROUP AND CENTRE, ROORKEE, PIN - 247667 on or before 20/09/2014.
