Gauhati University is requires Research Assistants (RA) for filling up Two (02) temporary posts in the research project on "Effects of Violent Displacement: A Study of Women in Conflict Zones in Bodoland Territorial Area District (BTAD) Areas of Assam 2008-2012" sponsored by Indian Council for Social Science Research (ICSSR). Walk in Interview will be held on 20th June 2014.

Eligibility:
(1) Postgraduate degree with 50% marks (in Social Science/ Humanities/ Science disciplines).
(2) Desirable - 2 years experience in research (in Women's or Gender Studies) or, evidence of demonstrated research capability. Good understanding of research design, sampling techniques. Extensive field work and survey experience. Knowledge of working with computers.
Knowledge and Skills:
(1) Result oriented and ability to deliver on time.
(2) Ability to work flexibly and good time management.
