Qualification & Experience: (Note: A basic University or equivalent qualification included in any one of the Schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act 1956 (102 of 1956) and must be registered in a State Medical Register of India Medical Council.)
Professor ->
(1) MD / MS /DNB in specialized subject from a recognized University / Institution or equivalent as per MCI norms.
(2) Ten years experience in the profession after acquiring postgraduate qualification, out of which four years should be as Reader/ Associate Professor in a Recognized Medical College/ Teaching Institution. Minimum four Research Publications indexed in index Medicus/ National Journals & one Research Publication in International journal.
Associate Professor ->
(1) MD / MS /DNB in specialized subject from a recognized University / Institution or equivalent as per MCI norms.
(2) At least five years teaching experience as Senior Resident/ Registrar Lecturer Demonstrator / Tutor in concerned
speciality in a recognised teaching institution after the first Post graduate qualification.
(3) Minimum two Research Publications indexed in Index Medicus/National Journals.
Assistant Professor -> MD / MS /DNB in specialized subject from a recognized University / Institution or equivalent as per MCI norms. III. Three years teaching experience in the subject in a recognized Medical College as Senior Resident/ Registrar / Demonstrator / Tutor.
