Educational Qualifications: Matriculation /NAC/NTC issued by National Council of Trades for Vocational Training (NCTVT) certificate in the relevant trade.
Selection Process: The selection will be made strictly on the basis of merit. The selection process will comprise of Written Test of 100 marks and Trade Test (Practical). All eligible candidates will be called for an objective type written test. On the basis of merit of written test marks, candidates will be called for trade test (Practical test) in the ratio of 1:3 to the number of vacancies. Final merit will be decided on the basis of marks in the written test and performance in the practical test.
Exam Syllabus: The syllabus for written test for a trade will be broadly as that of the NCTVT examination syllabus for that trade. The syllabus for trade test (Practical) will be as per trade test specification of the semi-skilled grade of the relevant grade of Ordnance Factory.
Application Fee: Rs.50/- for General and OBC Candidates. The application fee should be paid through Crossed Indian Postal Order or Demand Draft drawn in favour of The General Manager, Engine Factory Avadi. The fee exempted from SC/ST/XSM/PH candidates
How To Apply: Eligible Indian Citizens Apply Online on or before 09/06/2014. After submitting Online Application and taking print of the "filled" online application, the candidates should forward a copy of the same along with the certificates to "The General Manager, Engine Factory Avadi".
