Qualification, Experience & Eligibility:
Assistant ->
(a) Officers of the Central Government or State Governments or Union territories:-
(i) holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or
(ii) with six years' service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in ministerial post in the Pay Band-1, (Rs. 5200-20200) and Grade Pay of Rs. 2800/- or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; (OR)
(iii) with ten years' service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular
basis in ministerial post in the Pay Band-1, (Rs. 5200-20200) and Grade Pay of Rs. 2400/- or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; and
(b) Educational Qualification and Experience -
(i) Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university;
(ii) Computer proficiency.
Stenographer ->
(a) Officers of the Stenographer's cadre under the Central Government or State Governments or Union territories:-
(i) holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or
(ii) with six years' service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in ministerial post in the Pay Band-1, Rs. 5200-20200 plus Grade Pay of Rs. 2800/- or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; or
(iii) with ten years' service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in the post in the Pay Band-1, (Rs. 5200-20200) plus Grade Pay of Rs. 2400/- or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; and
(b) Educational Qualification and Experience:-
(i) Graduate Degree from a recognized University; and
(ii) Possessing computer proficiency.
(c) Skill test:-
(i) Stenography speed: 10 mts @ 80 words per minute.
(ii) Transcription 50 minutes (English), 65 minutes (Hindi) on computer.

Eligibility: The officers of the Central Government or State Government or Union Territories:-
(i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; (OR)
(ii) With 5 years' service (Inspector), 6 years' service (for Sub Inspector) in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in posts in the Pay Band-2 of Rs.9300-34800 with Grade Pay Rs.4200/- in the parent cadre or department.
Qualification & Experience: Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university; and Two years' experience in handling of cases of investigation of criminal cases, or intelligence work or operations or Information Technology cases or Training in counter terrorism.
