National Institute For Research In Reproductive Health (NIRRH) Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) invites application for the post of Scientist ‘C’ at the Genetic Research Centre, Mumbai. Eligible Persons apply on or before 3rd June 2014.

Qualification & Experience:
(1) Essential - MBBS Or M.V.Sc Degree recognized by MCI/VCI respectively with 4 years experience in Genetics or related subjects. (OR) 1st Class Master’s Degree in Genetics or Life Sciences equivalent degree from a recognized University with 4 years R&D experience in the relevant subject. (OR) 2nd Class M.Sc in Genetics or Life Science or related subjects + Ph.D degree in Genetics from recognized University with 4 years research experience in bio-medical subjects.
(2) Desirable - Post Doctorate in genetic or related science subjects or MD/Ph.D in genetic or the related subject from a recognized University for candidates with first class relevant degree. Additional Post doctoral research/teaching experience in genetic or relevant subjects form recognized Institute(s). Knowledge of Computer Applications.

Walk in Interview will be held on 17th April 2014.

Educational Qualifications:

(2) Two years research experience in molecular biology will be considered. Candidate with field work experience and willing to carry out part of study in North East India will be preferred.
