Educational Qualifications:

Block Development Officer ->

(a) Essential - (i) Degree in any branch from a recognised University or equivalent. (ii) Knowledge of Konkani.
(b) Desirable - (i) Degree in Sociology/Social Work from a recognized university or equivalent. (ii) Knowledge of Marathi.

Associate Professor in Plastic Surgery ->

(a) Essential - (i) A recognised medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (Act No. 102 of 1956). Holders of qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (Act No. 102 of 1956). (ii) Post graduate degree or equivalent in the concerned super-speciality or equivalent. (iii) At least four years teaching/research experience in a recognized Medical College/Teaching Institution after obtaining the qualifying degree of Doctorate of Medicine (D.M.)/Master of Chirurgiae (M.Ch.). (iv) Knowledge of Konkani.
(b) Desirable - Knowledge of Marathi.

Assistant Professor in Plastic Surgery ->

(a) Essential - (i) A recognised medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (Act No. 102 of 1956). Holders of qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (Act No. 102 of 1956). (ii) Post graduate degree or equivalent in the concerned super-specialty or equivalent. (iii) At least one year teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Medical College/Teaching Institution in the subject of super-speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of Doctorate of Medicine (D.M.)/Master of Chirurgiae (M.Ch.). (b) Desirable - Knowledge of Marathi.

Junior Surgeon ->

(a) Essential - (i) A recognised Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (102 of 1956) Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the said Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (ii) Postgraduate degree, failing which post-graduate diploma, in the speciality concerned. (iii) In case of Diploma holders, work in responsible position connected with the speciality concerned for 2 years after post graduation Diploma. (iv) Knowledge of Konkani.
(b) Desirable - Knowledge of Marathi.

Drug Inspector ->

(a) Essential - (i) Degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences or Medicines with specialization in Clinical Pharmacology or Microbiology from an University established in India by Law. (ii) Not less than 18 months experience in the manufacture of at least one of the substances specified in schedule C and/or schedule C1 to the Drugs and Cosmetics Rule, 1945 (OR) (ii) Not less than 18 months experience in testing atleast one of the substances specified in schedule C and/or schedule C1 to the Drugs and Cosmetics Rule, 1945 (OR) (ii) Not less than three years experience in the inspection of firms manufacturing any of the substances in schedule C and/or schedule C1 to the
Drugs and Cosmetics Rule, 1945, during the tenure of his service as a Drugs Inspector.(iii) Knowledge of Konkani.
(b) Desirable - Knowledge of Marathi.

Technical Officer ->

(a) Essential - (i) Degree in Pharmacy from a recognized University. (ii) 3 years experience in the manufacturing or testing of drugs and Cosmetics Act and Rules made thereunder and standardization of Drugs. (iii) Knowledge of Konkani.
(b) Desirable - Knowledge of Marathi.

Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in Sub-section (3) of Section 13 of the said Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (ii) Post Graduate Degree, failing which post-graduate diploma, in speciality concerned. (iii) Work in a responsible position connected with the speciality concerned for 3 years after post-graduation Degree or five years after post-graduation Diploma. (iv) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.

Lecturer in Architectural Assistantship -> Essential: (i) First Class Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or equivalent qualification. (ii) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.

Application Fee: Rs.400/- for General Category Candidates and those for SC, ST, OBC, Physically Handicapped and Ex-serviceman, it is 50% of the Application Fee i.e. Rs.200/-. The application form should be accompanied by an Indian Postal Order or Demand Draft for the amount equivalent to the application fee payable to "The Secretary, GOA PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION" payable at Panjim.
