Qualifications:
Faculty Positions –> Good academic record with a Ph.D. Degree in relevant discipline. Full qualification details published in official notification.
Librarian / Deputy Librarian -> Master's Degree in Library Science/Information Science/documentation with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale and consistently good academic record set out in these Regulations. Librarian Post - At least thirteen years as a Deputy Librarian in a university library or eighteen years experience as a College Librarian. Deputy Librarian - Five year experience as an Assistant University Librarian/College Librarian.

About: Doon University, Dehradun in collaboration with NTPC Limited has established a NTPC Chair at the Centre for Excellence in Public Policy to promote academic excellence in Uttarakhand. The Centre carries out Research and Development, Consultancy and Teaching work in the field of Public Policy, Social Sciences, Environmental Science etc. from time to time on self finance/sponsored project mode.

Educational Qualifications: The candidates must have a strong research background with analytical skills evident from published work and should have a consistent good academic record with at least 55% marks at Masters Level from an Indian University. He/she should have cleared UGC NET Lectureship/SLET/SET in the subject domain. Candidates who are or have been awarded a Ph.D. degree in accordance with the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 shall be exempted from the requirement of UGC NET/SLET/SET.
