Northeast Frontier Railway, Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), Guwahati has issued open recruitment notification for Sports Quota Vacancies - For filling up 56 Posts in the year 2013-2014.
The Sports Quota Group D Vacancies filling up location is Northeast Frontier railways Headquarter Unit at Maligaon (31 Vacancies) and with its 5 Divisional units at Katihar, Alipurduar, Rangiya, Lumding and Tinsukia (25 Vacancies -> 5 posts for each Division). Eligible candidates apply on or before 14th January 2014.

Application Fee: A Non-refundable fee of Rs.60/- for posts with Grade pay Rs. 2800/Rs. 2400. Rs. 40 for posts with Grade pay Rs. 2000/Rs. 1900/Rs. 1800. The fee pay through a crossed IPO drawn in favour of NFRSA/Maligaon, payable at Post Office, Maligaon, Guwahati–781011.

Age Relaxation: OBC upto 36 years, SC/ST upto 38 years for SC/ST Candidates. Further Age relaxation check out official notification. Proof of Age - Matriculation/10th pass certificate issued by recognized Education Boards.
Educational Qualification: Minimum 10th class pass or ITI or equivalent. Academic qualification must be from recognized educational institution/Board, otherwise candidature will be rejected even after appointment to Railway Service.
Examination Fee: Rs.100/- for UR and OBC candidates. Candidates belonging to SC/ST, Physically Handicapped, women, minorities, ex- serviceman and economically backward classes are exempted from payment of examination fees. The fee shall be paid in the form of Indian Postal Order from any Post office drawn in favour of FA&CAO, N.F. Railway and payable at GPO, Guwahati.
How To Apply: Applications should be made on a good quality white paper of A4 size (210mm*297mm) using ONE SIDE only. The application should be written in either English or Hindi.
The applications in prescribed format may be sent by ordinary post to Chairman, Railway Recruitment Cell, N.F Railway, Station Colony, Pan Bazar, Guwahati, Assam (PIN 781001) or dropped in the Application Drop room at Railway Recruitment Cell, N.F Railway, Station Colony, Pan Bazar ,Guwahati, Assam up to 17.30 hrs of the closing date on all working days except Saturday, Sunday and Holidays.
