Educational Qualifications:
Fabrication Assistant & Outfit Assistants -> Pass in SSLC, ITI (NTC) in the respective trade and National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC). Minimum of three years post qualification (NAC) experience including training in a Shipyard or Engineering Company or two years work experience in a Shipyard or Engineering Company.
Crane Operator -> Pass in SSLC, ITI (NTC) in the trade of Electrician/ Electronic Mechanic and National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC).Minimum of three years post qualification (NAC) experience including training in operating EOT cranes in a Shipyard or Engineering Company.
Age Limit: 35 Years as on 30 November 2013 relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD.
Remuneration: Consolidated pay of Rs.14000/-pm. In addition, the workmen are eligible for compensation for actual extra hours of work undertaken, however limited to maximum Rs.4200/- pm.
