bsfThe Border Security Force (BSF) invites application from Sports Persons (Male) Indian Citizens for the post of Constable GD (Total 90 Vacancies) against Sports Quota in various disciplines.

About BSF: The BSF is a Border Guarding Force of India. Established on December 1, 1965, it is a paramilitary force charged with guarding India's land border during peace time and preventing transnational crime. It is a Union Government Agency under the administrative control of Ministry of Home Affairs.

Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years from SC/ST and 3 years for OBC category candidates as per Govt. Rules.

Place of Duty: Anywhere within as well outside the Territory of India.

Educational Qualification: Matriculation or 10 class pass from a recognized university.

Sport Qualification: Sportsperson who have represented a State or the country in the National or International competition in any of the games/sports mentioned in the above list OR Sportsperson who have represented their University in the Inter— University Tournaments conducted by the Inter-University Sports Board in any of the sports/games shown in the list OR Sportspersons of merit who have represented State Schools Team in National Sports/Games for Schools conducted by the All India School Games Federation in any of the games/sports shown in the list.

Physical Standards: Height - 170 Cms for General Candidates, 162.5 Cms for SC/ST Candidates, 165 cms for OBC candidates. Chest – Read Official Advt.

Medical Standard:  Eye Sight - a) The minimum distant vision should be 6/6 and 6/9 both eyes without correction i.e. without wearing of glasses. b) Should be free from colour blindness. c) The candidate must not have any defects like knock knee, stammering, flat foot, varicose veins or squint in eyes and they should possess high colour vision They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.

e) Trial in respective sports discipline.

f) Medical Examination.

Examination Fee: Rs. 50/- (Rupees Fifty) only through crossed IPO/Demand Draft/ Banker's Cheque in the favour of 'The Commandant 25 Bn BSF’.. In case of Postal order payable at Post office Chhawla and in case of Demand Draft payable at SBI BSF Chhawla New Delhi, Bank Code 10649.
