✅ Kolkata Police Constable Eligibility Criteria:
(1) Candidates must have passed the Madhyamik Examination (Matriculation or 10th class equivalent) from the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent.
(2) Candidates must be able to read, write, and speak the Bengali language. However, this provision will not be applicable to persons who are permanent residents of hill sub-divisions of Darjeeling and Kalimpong Districts. For applicants from hill sub-divisions of Darjeeling and Kalimpong Districts, the provisions laid down in the West Bengal Official Language Act, 1961, shall apply.
(3) Female candidates are eligible to apply for the posts of Lady Constable in Kolkata Police.

✅ Kolkata Police Constable Exam 2024 Details:
Eligible candidates will have to appear for an MCQ-based preliminary written test for Kolkata Police Constable 2024, which is qualifying in nature. The test will consist of 100 objective-type questions, each with multiple choices (four options) of answers, carrying 01 mark each. The duration of this test will be 01 hour. Eligible and interested candidates willing to apply for Kolkata Police Constable Recruitment 2024 should submit their online applications through the West Bengal Police Recruitment Board (prb.wb.gov.in), West Bengal Police (wbpolice.gov.in), or Kolkata Police (kolkatapolice.gov.in) starting from 1st March 2024.
The Candidates are required to upload their recent passport-size color photograph and full signature. Upon successful submission of the application, applicants will receive an SMS on their registered mobile number. Each applicant must have an individual mobile number and email ID.
