Presently, the units of  FSNL are situated at Rourkela, Burnpur, Bhilai, Bokaro, Visakhapatnam, Durgapur, Dolvi near Mumbai, Duburi near Jajpur Road (Orissa)  & Haridwar (inside BHEL)-Uttarakhand, with Regional Office at Delhi.
