Punjab PoliceApplications are invited from Male and female candidates for filling up of the 3726 of Male and 2000 Female posts in the District Police Cadre in the rank of constable in Punjab Police.

The minimum educational
qualification for recruitment is 10+2  in any discipline  or equivalent.

Physical Measurement:  For Male candidates - Minimum Height 5’ 7” (Five feet Seven Inches), For Female candidates  - Minimum Height 5’ 3” (Five feet three Inches).

Application Fee: Application  Form can  be  obtained by paying  Rs.  100/-  cash w.e.f. 27.09.2011 to 17.10.2011 on all working days during office hours (9.00 a.m.  to 1.30 P.M and 2.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m.) from the Office of Police Commissioners and Senior Superintendents of Police in all Districts of Punjab.

Male candidates - The application form  completely  filled in  all  aspects  alongwith all the necessary documents/certificates  in case of male candidates must reach the Chairman, District Recruitment Boards (__________________) (Name of District for which the applicant applies) (from 27.09.2011 to 17.10.2011  (from 9.00 A.M to 5.00 P.M) on all working days including Saturdays). 

Female candidates - The application form  completely  filled in  all  aspects  alongwith all the necessary  documents/certificates  in case of female candidates  must reach  the Chairman  -cum-IGP Zone Recruitment Board   for female (Zone concerned i.e Bathinda, Jallandhar, Border Amritsar & Patiala. (Name of Zone for which the applicant applies) 27.09.2011 to 17.10.2011 (from 9.00 A.M to 5.00 P.M) on all working days including Saturdays).
