Assam Rifles recruitment rally will be held at Dimapur (Nagaland - 373 Posts) and Guwahati (Assam - 408 Posts) from 14 Sep 2011 onwards for enrolment of male candidates from various states for the following technical cadre posts.

| 2 | Naib Subedar (Bridge and Road ) Junior Commissioned Officer | Matric or equivalent from a recognized Board or University and Diploma in civil Engineering OR Bridge and Road from a recognized Institution. |
| 3 | Warrant Officer (PA) | 10 + 2 or equivalent from a recognized board or university with short hand speed @ 80 words per minute and typing speed @ 40 words per minute. |
| 4 | Havildar (Clerk) | 10+2 pass (Matric passed with English & Maths) and typing speed @ 30 words per minute in English or @ 25 words per minute in Hindi. |
| 5 | Havildar /Draftsman | Matric or equivalent Diploma in the trade from a recognized institution/board preferably with 3 years experience. |
| 6 | Line Man Field | Matric Pass with ITI cert of the trade from recognized institution. |
| 7 | Electrician | Matric Pass with ITI cert of the trade from recognized institution. |
| 8 | Plumber | Matric Pass with Diploma/ITI cert of the trade from recognized institution. |
| 9 | Electrician (Mechanic Vehicle) | Matric Pass with English, Maths and Science and Diploma/ITI certificate from recognized institution. |
| 10 | Upholster | Matric Pass with ITI cert of the trade from recognized institution. |
| 11 | Radio Mechanic | Matric Pass with English, Maths, Science & Physics. |
| 12 | Electrical Fitter Signal | Matric Pass with English, Maths, Science & Physics. |
| 13 | Operator Radio Line | Matric Pass with English, Maths, Science & Physics. |
| 14 | Armourer | Matric Pass with English, Maths and Science. |
Age Limit: Between 18 to 23 years as on 1st Aug 2011. Upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years to OBC and 5 years to SC/ST Candidates.
