Bihar Home Department, Government of Bihar invites Online applications for IT recruitment of Programmer, Assistant Programmer and Data Entry Operator (DEO) for filling up total 405 Vacancies in Prisons and Correctional Services (Bihar Prisons). Eligible Persons apply online through IPSC Online portal on or before 25th October 2016.

Age Limit: 21 to 37 Years as on 1st October 2016.
Educational Qualifications:
Programmer -> Graduate Degree in Computer Science & Engineering / Computer Application / Information Technology / M.Sc. (IT) / MCA or equivalent qualification with 03 Years experience in Data Processing.
Assistant Programmer -> Graduate Degree (B.Sc. / BCA) in Computer Science & Engineering / Computer Application with 02 Years experience in Data Processing.
DEO -> Intermediate (Matric + 12th) or equivalent with 03 Years Diploma in Computer Science. Knowledge of MS Office and Typing speed - Hindi Language 30 word per minute and English Language 40 words per minute.
Application Fee: ₹ 100/- for SC / ST Category Candidates of Bihar State and Female candidates; ₹ 400/- for General / OBC / BC Category candidates of Bihar and all other state candidates. The Application Exam fee can be made through online payment mode (Credit Card / Debit Card / Net Banking) on or before 5th October 2016.
