Age Limit: The upper age limit for Scientist 'E' on deputation shall be 56 years, in case of Scientist 'D' (on contract) shall be and 40 years and in case of Project Scientist 'C (on contract) basis shall be 35 years as on the closing date for receipt of application.
The last date of receipt of applications is 60 days upto 05:30 P.M. including the date of publication of the advertisement in the Employment News Paper dated 6th - 12th August 2016 Issue (i.e. last date may be 04/10/2016) and 75 days for above mentioned Districts / states and Union territories.

Qualification and Experience:
Scientist- 'C' ->
(1) Master's Degree in Physics or Chemistry or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized University or equivalent for respective discipline.
(2) Four years' experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology organisation and scientific activities and services.
(3) Desirable - Doctorate Degree in Physics or Chemistry or Master's Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized University or equivalent for respective discipline.
Scientist- 'D' ->
(1) Master's Degree in Physics or Chemistry or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized University or equivalent for respective discipline.
(2) Eight years experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology organization or and scientific activities and services, out of which four years shall be in science and technology programme, planning, development and cooperation.
(3) Desirable - Doctorate Degree in Physics or Chemistry or Master's Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized University or equivalent for respective discipline.
