Western Railway Medical Officer Recruitment 2024 Notification for 10 Posts: The Western Railway is inviting applications from MBBS Doctors for the engagement of Medical Practitioners on a Contract Basis in Health Units located at Churchgate, Mumbai Central, Mahalaxmi, Lower Parel, Borivali, Palghar, Nandurbar, and Ortho/Ophthal/Surgeon/Gynaecologist or any other specialist in Sub-Divisional Hospital-Valsad of Mumbai Division. The Walk-in Interview is scheduled to be held on 21st April 2024.

Western Railway Medical Officer Age Limit:
The maximum age for initial engagement is 53 years, and for re-engagement, it is 65 years or completion of 12 terms, whichever comes first. Each engagement term should not exceed one year. Retired/Government doctors have a maximum age limit of 67 years and 7 terms.
Western Railway Medical Officer Salary:
✔️ CMP - GDMO: ₹ 75,000/- per month
✔️ Specialists: For 1st Year - ₹ 95,000/- per month, 2nd year - ₹ 1,05,500/- per month
Western Railway Medical Officer Eligibility Criteria:
For Specialists:
(1) Degree in medicine i.e. MBBS recognized by the Medical Council of India.
(2) A post Graduate qualification / DNB in the relevant subject/field recognized by the Medical Council of India/ State Medical Council.
(3) 03 years experience in Clinical work after Post graduation in the specialty concerned as on the date of interview is desirable.
For GDMO:
(1) MBBS (Degree in medicine) recognized by the Medical Council of India.
(2) Candidates must be registered with MCI / MMC.
