Educational Qualifications & Selection Methods:
Fireman -> Matriculation or equivalent. Physical endurance test / Skill test (whichever applicable).
Tradesman Mate -> Matriculation or equivalent. Knowledge of Hindi. Passing a timed run, Physical endurance tests & written test.
Blacksmith -> Matriculation or equivalent. Certificate from a recognized ITI or 3 years training and/or experience of actual work in the trade. Tests specified by board of officers including physical test and/or skill test.
