- AME Diploma/Certificate in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (02 Or 03 years) in relevant discipline (OR) Minimum 03 years Diploma in Engineering in relevant discipline with 60% marks/equivalent grade (55% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC candidates).
- Candidates must have minimum One Year Aviation experience in Aircraft Maintenance/ Overhaul & Avionics including current experience of ongoing Apprenticeship training under Apprenticeship Act.

During the initial year of training, the Graduate Engineer Trainee in the Support Services cadre will receive a stipend of Rs. 40,000/-. Following successful completion of training and performance evaluation/level examination, they will be designated as Assistant Engineers. Subsequently, they will receive comprehensive emoluments ranging from Rs. 59,000/- to Rs. 79,000/- per month over a span of four years (excluding the training period), contingent on their length of service and experience.
