The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will hold Screening Test for selection to Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination, 2015 through Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2015 which will be held on 23rd August, 2015. Eligible Indian Nationals apply Indian Forest Service (IFS) Exam 2015 through UPSC CSE 2015 online application form on or before 19th June 2015.

Minimum Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering of any of Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University Under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification.
Plan of Examination: The Indian Forest Service (IFS) Examination will consist of two successive stages:-
(1) Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination (Objective type) for the selection of candidates for the Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination (AND)
(2) Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination (Written and Interview) for the selection of candidates for the Indian Forest Service.
Exam Fee: Rs.100/- for General and OBC Category Candidates, The fee can be pay through Online Mode (using net banking facility of SBI, State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur/State Bank of Hyderabad/State Bank of Mysore/State Bank of Patiala/State Bank of Travancore or by using Visa/Master Credit/Debit card) or Offline Mode (depositing the money in any Branch of SBI by cash).
How To Apply: Candidates are required to apply Online using UPSC Online Recruitment Portal Website. The Online Applications can be filled upto 19/06/2015 till 11.59 PM. The Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination, 2015 Successful Candidates are required to filling Detailed Application Form (DAF) from 16th October 2015 to 28th October 2015.
