Age Limit: Not less than 20 years and more than 55 years as on 1st January 2018. The upper age is relaxable for employees of SKUAST-J.
Educational Qualification and Experience: Doctorate degree in the subject concerned. 10 years experience for Professor, 08 years experience for Associate Professor. For Assistant Professor - Post Graduate with NET qualification.
Application Fee: A Non refundable fee of ₹ 2000/- in the shape of Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favour of Comptroller, SKUAST-J payable at Jammu.

Qualification & Experience:
Dean -> Doctorate degree in any discipline / subject of concerned faculty. 15 years experience of teaching / research experience.
University Librarian -> Doctorate degree in Library Sciences, relaxable to high 2nd class Master's degree in library sciences in case of candidates with exceptionally distinguished achievements or brilliant academic record. 12 Years experience.
Professor -> Doctorate degree in the subject concerned. 10 Years Experience in the relevant subject.
Associate Professor / Senior Scientist -> Doctorate degree in the subject concerned. 08 Years experience in the relevant subject.
Assistant Professor / Junior Scientist -> Master's degree with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade in OGPA or equivalent post-graduate qualification in the concerned subject; and Ph.D. degree (with course work) in concerned subject as prescribed by the UGC regulations, 2009; and NET or at least two full length publications having a NAAS rating not less than 4, on the last date of submission of application (OR) Master's degree with 55% marks or equivalent grade in OGPA or equivalent postgraduate qualification in the concerned subject; and Ph.D. degree (without course work) in the concerned subject; and NET.
