Director Gen Armed Forces Medical Services / Army Dental Corps will invites applications from Civilian Dental Surgeons (BDS and MDS) for Grant of Short Service Commission (SSC), for the commissioning cycle of 2017 on the basis of NEET (MDS)-2017 to be conducted by National Board of Examinations (NBE), New Delhi, under the aegis of Ministry of Health & Family Welfare.
(a) The Candidates (BDS & MDS) desirous of Grant of Short Service Commission will have to mandatorily appear for NEET (MDS)-2017. Candidates are advised to keep a lookout for the notification for NEET (MDS)-201 7 by NBE, MoH&FW as & when it is published, register & appear online for the said entrance examination.
(b) Selection Based on the Score in NEET (MDS)-2017, candidates will be screened/ shortlisted for the Interview.

PB-3 (₹ 15600-39100) + Grade Pay of ₹ 6100/- Military Service Pay (MSP) of ₹ 6000/-
Qualification and Eligibility Criteria:
(a) BDS/MDS from a College/ University recognized by the Dental Council of India (DCI) for the respective batch/ year and who have registered themselves as Registered Dental Practitioners with any State Dental Council. Candidates should have secured a mandatory min of 55% marks in final year BDS (aggregate of all subjects).
(b) The candidate must be a citizen of India.
(c) Candidates should have completed one year compulsory rotatory internship by 31 Mar 2016.
(d) Permanent Dental Registration certificate of State Dental Council/DCI should be valid at least upto 31 Dec 2016.
(e) Candidate must have mandatorily appeared for AIPGDEE-2016 held on 13 Dec 2015
(f) Should be declared medically fit by the Medical Board, in all respects for service in Armed Forces Medical Services.
(g) Only those candidates (BDS/MDS) who have appeared in All India Post Graduate Dental Entrance Examination (AIPGDEE)-2016 conducted by AIIMS, New Delhi, under the aegis of Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, held on 13 Dec 2015 are eligible to apply.
Selection Process: Screening for Calling for Interview, Interview and Medical Examination.
Application Fee: A non refundable Demand Draft (DD) of any Nationalized Bank only for ₹ 200/- payable at New Delhi in favour of "Director General Armed Forces Medical Services (APF Fund)" along with the application. It is to be ensured that the Demand Draft bears the IFSC code number of the issuing bank & the date of issue should be after the publication of this advertisement.
