Northern Railway issued Employment Notification for recruitment to filling up Two posts of Group 'D' against Scout & Guide quota for the recruitment year 2014-15 over Moradabad Division. Eligible Indian National candidates are required to apply on the prescribed format on or before 4th July 2014.

Age Relaxation -> 05 Years for SC/ST Candidates and 03 Years for OBC Candidates.
Educational Qualification: 10th Pass (Matriculation) from recognized schools/ boards.
Scouting Qualification:
(1) A President Scout/Guide/Rover/Ranger (OR) Himalayan Wood Badge (OR) A Pre-Himalayan Wood Badge Holder Trained Scout Leader/ Advanced Trained Guide/ Leader/ Captain.
(2) Should have been an active member of Scout & Guide Organisation for at least
03Years in the recent past and should continue to be active.
(3) Should have attended at least one event at National level and one or two event at State level OR Should have a good record of participation in Scout & Guide activities at Unit/ District Level.
Selection Process: Written Test and Viva-Voce Test. Written Test shall be held on 16/08/2014.
Exam Syllabus -> History of Scouting & Guiding, Law & Promise Organization- District & State Level, Training center, Knowledge of books, Scouting for Boys/ Guiding for Girls in India, Motto, Left hand shake, Salute, Prayer, Flag Song, National Anthem, Know the National & Scouting Flag, Social Service at various occasion, Hiking, Proficiency Badges, How are these are earned?, Stages in Scouting & Guiding, Thinking Day, Progressive Training of Scout/ Guide/ Rover & Ranger, Pioneering, Handicraft, Indian Railway Jamborette, National Jamboree, Jamboree on Air. etc.
Examination Fee: General & OBC candidates only Rs.40 and SC/ST candidates only Rs.10 by Indian Postal Order or Bank Draft/Demand Draft only, in favor of District Commissioner Scouts & Guides, Moradabad payable at Moradabad.
How To Apply: Applications on the prescribed format. Applications in own handwriting or duly typed on the prescribed Proforma on A-4 size of good quality paper be sent.
