Educational Qualifications:
SI (Workshop) -> Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (OR) Three years Diploma in Mechanical or Marine or Auto mobile Engineering.
SI (Master) -> 10+2 or its equivalent (AND) Second Class Master Certificate issued by the Central or State Inland Water Transport Authority or Mercantile Marine Department.
SI (Engine Driver) -> 10+2 or its equivalent (AND) First Class Engine Driver Certificate issued by the Central or State Inland Water Transport Authority or Mercantile Marine Department.
HC (Master) -> Matriculation with Serang Certificate.
HC (Engine Driver) -> Matriculation and Possessing IInd class Engine Driver Certificate.
HC (Workshop) -> Matriculation (AND) Industrial Training Instituted Diploma in Motor Mechanic (Diesel / Petrol Engine) Machinist/Welder/ Carpentry/Electrician/Fitter/Air conditioner Technician / Electronics/Plumbing / Upholstering / Painting.
CT (Crew) -> Matriculation or equivalent (AND) One years experience in operating of Boat below 265 HP as a Sukhani or Greaser (AND) Should know swimming and possess a certificate to this effect from a recoginised institute/swimming pool/any authority to give such certificate.

Educational Qualifications:
Sub Inspector (SI) ->
(1) 10+2 or Equivalent.
(2) Degree/Diploma in General Nursing Programme.
(3) Registration as General Nurse and Midwife with Central or State Nursing Council.
(4) Desirable - Experience in the field of Tuberculosis, Hospital Administration, Sister Tutor, Public health, Pediatrics, Psychiatry.
ASI(Pharmacist) ->
(1) 10+2 or equivalent.
(2) Degree or Diploma in Pharmacy from any recognized Institution of the Central or State Government for which the period of Training in two years followed by an internship of which the practical training shall not be less than five hundred hours spread over a period of not less than three months.
ASI (OT Technician) -> 10+2 with Science or its equivalent plus Diploma in Operation Technique or Certificate in relevant subject from an Institute recognized by the Central or the State Government.
ASI (Physiotherapist) ->
(1) 10+2 with Science or equivalent from a recognized board or Institution;
(2) Degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy from an Institution recognized by the Central or the State Governments with
06 months experience in a hospital of the Central or State Government or in a hospital or in an Institution recognized
by the Central or State Government is desirable.
HC (Electrician) ->
(1) Matriculation or equivalent.
(2) Diploma in Electrician trade from an Institution recognized by the Central or the State Government preferably from Government Polytechnic or Industrial Technical Institute with certificate or competency.
(3) Not less than three year practical experience as an electrician.
CT (Dresser) ->
(1) 10th or its equivalent from a recognized board or Institution.
(2) Possessing First Aid Certificate from St John's Ambulance Organisation or Red Cross Society of India or Para Medical Course in related field.
(3) Not less than one year experience in bandage & dressing of wounds (preferably in a hospital of the Central or the State Government or in a hospital or an Institution recognized by the Central or State Government).
CT (Peon) -> Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board with knowledge of Cycling.
CT (Masalchi) ->
(1) Pass in Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board;
(2) (i) two years work experience in respective trade; (OR) (ii) one year certificate course from a recognized Industrial Training Institute or Vocational Institute with at least one year experience in the trade; (OR) (iii) two years /Diploma from recognized Industrial Training Institute in the trade or similar trade.
