Educational Qualifications:
1) A Master's Degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation Science or an equivalent professional degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and a consistently good academic record with knowledge of computerization of Library.
2) Qualifying in the national level test conducted for the purpose by the UGC or any other agency approved by the UGC.
Application Fee: Demand Draft of Rs. 250/- (General/OBC) and 100/- (for SC/ST) in favor of the Principal, Jesus and Mary College. There is no fee for PwD applicants.

Essential Qualifications: Good academic record with atleast 55% (50% for candidates belonging to SC/ST or those who passed their Master's degree prior to 19.09.1991 and hold a Ph.D degree) or an equivalent grade of B in the 7 point scale with letter grade O, A, B, C, D, E & F at the Master's degree from foreign University. Candidates should have qualified the National Eligibility Test(NET) for Assistant Professors conducted by the UGC/CSIR or a similar test accredited by the UGC.
