Scientist - F: Master’s degree (M.Sc./ M.Tech.) in Physical Oceanography / Marine Sciences [or] Master’s degree in Engineering or Technology in Mechanical [or] Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Technology in Mechanical from a recognized university/ institute with at least a first class (60% of marks) in the qualifying degree or equivalent. At least 16 years experience.

Scientist – E: Master’s Degree (M.Sc) in Computer Sciences / Computer Applications / Data Science / Information Technology/ Oceanography/ Physical Oceanography/ Atmospheric Sciences/ Physics/ Mathematics [OR] Master’s degree (M.Tech) in Engineering or Technology in Computers/Information Technology/ Data Sciences/ Atmospheric Sciences/ Oceanography [or] Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology in Computers / Data Science / Information Technology from a recognized university/institute with at least a first class (60% of marks) in the qualifying degree. Minimum 11 years experience.

Scientist – C: Master’s degree (M.Sc., M.Tech.) in relevant discipline from a recognized university/ institute with at least a first class (60% of marks) in the qualifying degree or equivalent. At least 07 years relevant experience.

Educational Qualifications:

Project Scientist 'B' (P01) -> Masters Degree in Science/Technology in Physical Oceanography or Ocean Technology or Physics or Mathematics or Atmospheric Science or Meteorology or its equivalent degree from a recognized university with a first class (minimum of 60% of marks) in the qualifying degree (OR) Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Technology in Ocean Technology or Civil engineering or Mechanical engineering with specialization in coastal engineering or its equivalent degree from a recognized university with a first class (minimum of 60% of marks) in the qualifying degree.

Project Scientist 'B' (P02) -> Bachelors degree in Engineering or Technology in Computers, Information Technology or its equivalent from a recognized university / institute with a first class (minimum of 60% of marks) in the qualifying degree.

Project Scientist 'B' (P03) -> Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology in Electronics & Communications or Electrical and Electronics or its equivalent from a recognized university / institute with a first class (minimum 60% of marks) in the qualifying degree.

Project Assistant -> Bachelor's degree in Science (B.Sc.) with Physics or Mathematics or Computers as major subjects from a recognized university / institute with a first class (minimum of 60% of marks) in the qualifying degree. Selection Process: The candidates will be screened based on the desirable qualifications and/or on the record of academic performance and/or relevant experience for the post, and/or any other benchmark decided by a committee constituted to screen the applications. The candidates screened-in will be called for a "Written Test" at INCOIS, Hyderabad on the day or day before the date of interview. The successful candidates in the "Written Test" will be called for Interview for final selection.
