South Western Railway Scouts and Guides Quota 2022: South Western Railway (SWR) Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Hubballi (Hubli) invites applications in the prescribed format from eligible Indian candidates for recruitment of 03 posts in Level-2 and 08 (Eight) posts in Level-1 of the Railway Services (Revised Pay) Rules, 2016 against Scouts & Guides Quota for the year 2022-23. The closing date for receipt of applications is 19th December 2022.

✅ Age Limit:
✔️ For Level-2: 18 to 30 years as on 1st January 2023.
✔️ For Level-1: 18 to 33 years as on 1st January 2023.
✔️ Age Relaxation - 05 years for SC / ST, 03 years for OBC and others as per GoI Rules.
✅ Educational Qualifications:
✔️ Level 2: Passed 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in aggregate. 50% marks is not insisted upon in the case of SC/ST/Ex. Servicemen/Persons with Disabilities (PWD) candidates. 50% marks is also not insisted upon in the case of candidates who possess qualifications higher than the essential minimum prescribed qualification. Educational Qualification must be from Recognized Institutions (OR) Matriculation Plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship/ ITI approved by NCVT/SCVT with not less than 50% marks in aggregate. 50% marks is not insisted upon in the case of SC/ST/Ex. Servicemen/Persons With Disabilities (PWD) candidates. 50% marks is also not insisted upon in the case of candidates who possess qualifications higher than the essential minimum prescribed qualification. Educational Qualification must be from Recognized Institutions.
✔️ Level 1: Candidates should possess the qualification of 10th Pass or ITI or equivalent. Candidates appearing and/or awaiting results of the final examinations of 10th or ITI or equivalent on the date of application are not eligible to apply. Educational Qualification must be from Recognized Institutions.
✅ Scouts & Guides Qualifications: The following qualification would apply for recruitment of Scouts & Guides to posts in Level-2 and Level-1.
(a) A President Scout/ Guide/ Rover/ Ranger OR Himalayan Wood Badge (HWB) holder in any section;
(b) Should have been an active member of a Scouts organization for the last 5 years. The ‘Certificate of Activeness’; and
(c) Should have attended two events at National level OR All Indian Railways' level AND two events at State level.
✅ Selection Process:
✔️ Written Test (60 Marks)
✔️ Marks on Certificates (40 Marks)
✅ Examination Fee:
✔️ ₹ 500/- for General and OBC Category Candidates
✔️ ₹ 250/- for SC / ST / Ex-Servicemen / Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), Women, Minorities and Economically Backward Classes.
✔️ The examination fee should be paid in the form of crossed Indian Postal Order (IPO) only, from any Post office drawn in favour of Asst. Personnel Officer/ Traffic, South Western Railway, Hubli, payable at Hubli.
