ASRB NET Exam 2013 for Lecturers or Assistant Professors Posts

Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB)  will hold  NET (National Eligibility Test)  Examination  –  2012 on 20.01.2013  at 33 centres  across the country as per rules of the examination. NET is a qualifying examination for determining eligibility  for Lecturer / Assistant Professor in the State Agricultural Universities (SAUs) and other Agricultural Universities (AUs).

Exam Name	Age Limit	Qualification
National Eligibility Test (NET 2012)	A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years as on 01.08.2012. There is no upper age limit for the National Eligibility Test.	A candidate must possess a Master’s degree or equivalent in the concerned discipline with specialization completed on or before 1st August, 2012.

Application Fee: General - Rs. 1,000/-, Other Backward Classes  (Non creamy layer) - Rs. 500/-,  Schedule Caste/Schedule Tribe/Physically challenged - Rs. 250/-.

How To Apply:  A candidate seeking admission to the Examination must apply to The Secretary,  Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board, Krishi Anusandhan Bhavan, Pusa, New Delhi-110012 on the application form available on ICAR Website www.icar.org.in or ASRB Website www.asrb.org.in. The completed application form must reach the Secretary, Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board, Krishi Anusandhan Bhavan-I, Pusa, New Delhi-110012 by post or delivered in person on or before 20.11.2012.
