Tezpur University Recruitment 2011 of Junior Research Fellow and Field Attendant

Applications are  invited  for  the  following  temporary positions  in  the Ministry of Earth Sciences’ RDEAS Programme sponsored  project  entitled  “Physicochemical  characterization  of  aerosol  and  source  apportionment  in mid­ Brahmaputra  plain  in  Assam:  a  modeling  approach” in  the  Department  of  Environmental  Science,  Tezpur University.

Name of the post	No of Post	Stipend	Qualification
Junior Research Fellow	01	Rs. 12,000/­p.m. with HRA. On completion of 2 years the JRF position will be,  subsequently,  upgraded to SRF with a stipend of Rs. 14,000/­ p.m. +  HRA.	M.Sc.  in  Earth/  Environmental  Sciences  or  Chemistry  and  have  qualified  ‘NET­  Lecturership’  conducted by CSIR/ UGC. A good academic background with knowledge of atmospheric chemistry and statistical  software, is desirable.
Field Attendant	01	Rs. 5000/­p.m. (consolidated)	12th standard pass. Some knowledge of handling laboratory and field equipments is desirable.
