Eligible ITI qualified Indian Citizens apply online for Apprenticeship Training in 17 designated trades viz., Electrician, Electroplater, Electronics Mechanic, Fitter, Instrument Mechanic, Machinist, Mechanic Machine Tool Maintenance, Painter(General), Pattern Maker, R & A/C Mechanic, Welder (Gas & Electric), Carpenter, Foundryman, Forger and Heat Treater, Mechanic (Diesel), Sheet Metal Worker (all 16 trades) for one year training and Pipe Fitter only for two years training period at the Naval Dockyard Apprentices School, Visakhapatnam, [DAS (Vzg)] for the Training Years 2020 - 21 in accordance with Apprentices Act 1961 and Apprentices (amendment) Act 2014.

Stipend: Admissibility of stipend is based on the GoI Gazette Notification No.492 dated 22 Sep 2014. The current applicable stipend rates based on AP Govt. Gazette Notification No.1149 dated 30 Mar2017 are relevant.
Educational Qualification:
| (1) Minimum SSC / Matriculation or Xth Standard pass with minimum 50% marks aggregate. |
| (2) ITI (NCVT) in relevant trade with minimum 65% aggregate marks. |
Selection Process: Written Examination, Interview and Medical Exam.

On completion of online registration at www.apprenticeship.gov.in web portal, a candidate must apply online for Apprenticeship Training at Naval Dockyard, Andhra Pradesh establishment at web portal.
