The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) invites prescribed form of application from eligible Indian Sportspersons for recruitment of Assistant / Office Attendant in various offices of RBI Bank. The last date for receipt of application is 21st July 2014.

Sports wise Vacancies: Cricket (Men) - 12, Football (Men) - 24, Badminton (Men) - 05, Carrom (Men) - 03, Carrom (Women) - 02, Table Tennis (Men) - 03, Table Tennis (Women) - 04.
Age Relaxation: 05 Years (i.e. up to 31 years) for SC /ST Category; 03 Years (i.e. up to 29 years) for OBC Category.
Educational Qualifications (as on 31/08/2014):
Assistant -> At least a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline. The Bachelor’s degree should be from the University within the Recruitment Zone.
Office Attendant -> At least 10th pass (Matriculation) from the Board within the Recruitment Zone.
Those who have appeared for the 10th examination or final year examination of bachelor's degree and awaiting results can also apply (passed the Graduation/10th Examination on or before 31.08.2014.)
Sports Qualification: Should have represented:-
(a) A State or the country in the National or international competition (OR)
(b) The District in State level event (OR)
(c) Their University in Inter University Tournaments conducted by Inter university Board (OR)
(d) A State Schools Team in the National Sports / Games for Schools conducted by the All India Schools Game Federation.
(e) Performance of candidates in the previous two years will be given due importance.
(f) At the time of appointment the candidate must be an active sportsperson and should be fit enough to take part in future tournaments as well.
Selection Process: Candidates possessing requisite qualifications will be called for selection trials. Candidates who qualify in selection trials for the discipline applied for will be called for interview at respective centres. Since the recruitment will be mainly on the basis of sports qualifications suitable weightage would be given to this factor as well as the age of the candidates. Selection will be made strictly on the basis of merit. Selection trials and interviews will be conducted at respective offices.
Application Fee: Rs.100/- for General and OBC Category Candidates. No fee is payable by SC/ST candidates.

Educational Qualifications:
(a) A First Class Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 60% marks or an equivalent grade, in aggregate of all semesters / years ; (OR)
(b) A Second Class Master's Degree with minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade, in aggregate of all semesters / years; (OR)
(c) A Doctorate Degree; with minimum of 50% marks or an equivalent grade, in aggregate of all semesters / years in Master's Degree; (OR)
(d) Chartered/Cost Accountant/Company Secretary (ACS) with a Bachelor's Degree; (OR)
(e) A Post Graduate Diploma in Management / MBA qualification from institutions recognized by Government of India / University Grants Commission, with Graduation / Bachelor’s Degree.
Eligibility: Indian citizens, citizens of Nepal and subjects of Bhutan, Tibetan refugees (who came over to India before 1st January 1962) and persons of Indian origin who have migrated from Myanmar and Sri Lanka with the intention of permanently settling in India and in whose favour Eligibility Certificates have been issued by Government of India.
Age Relaxation –> For candidates possessing M.Phil. and Ph.D. qualification, upper age limit will be 31 and 33 years respectively.
Selection Process: Written Examination.
