✔️ College Librarian: 59 years

✔️ No maximum age limit for SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBC/DCs, BC(OBCM)s, BCMs and Destitute Widows of all categories.
✅ TNPSC Librarian Pay Scale:
✔️ College Librarian: ₹ 57700 – 211500/- (Level 24)
✔️ Librarian and Information Officer: ₹ 56100 – 205700/- (Level 22)
✔️ District Library Officer: ₹ 56100 – 205700/- (Level 22)
✔️ Library Assistant: ₹ 25400 - 130400/- (Level 11)
✔️ Librarian and Information Assistant: ₹ 19500 - 71900/- (Level 08)
✅ TNPSC Librarian Educational Qualifications:
✔️ College Librarian: A Master’s Degree in Library Science or Information Science or Documentation Science or an equivalent professional degree with not less 55% marks.
✔️ Librarian and Information Officer: A Master’s Degree of a University recognized by the UGC; (10+2+3+2 pattern) and A Master’s Degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science of a University recognized by the University Grants Commission; and Must have experience as Librarian for a period of not less than five years in Academic or Public or Special or Corporate Libraries.
✔️ District Library Officer: Any Master’s Degree of a University recognized by the UGC in the pattern of 10+2 or its equivalent + 3 + 2; and A Master’s degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science of a University recognized by the University Grants Commission; and Must have experience for a period of not less than three years in any of the libraries in a supervisory cadre.
✔️ Library Assistant: A Degree; and A Degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science.
✔️ Librarian and Information Assistant: A Bachelor’s Degree of a University recognized by the UGC. A Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science of a University recognized by the UGC.
✅ TNPSC Librarian Application Fee:
✔️ Registration Fee - ₹ 150/- (One Time Registration)
✔️ Examination Fee - ₹ 200/- (Exempted for SC, ST, PWD, Widow)
✔️ The fee should be made through online payment mode.
✅ TNPSC Librarian Selection Process: Objective Type Examination (OMR Method) and Interview (Oral Test) and Records.

➢ Eligible Interested candidates should apply online through TNPSC Exam Portal (apply.tnpscexams.in).
➢ The candidates first register “One Time Registration” by linking Aadhaar.
To apply under One Time Registration system, applicants should have upload a scanned image of their photograph, certificates etc.
