    • Nationality: Candidate must be a citizen of India (or as specified in the official notice for other eligible categories).
    • Educational Qualification (as on 07.10.2026): LDC / JSA and DEO / DEO Grade ‘A’ (except specified DEO posts): 12th Standard pass or equivalent from a recognized Board or University.     • Length of Service: Minimum 5 years of approved and continuous service in LDC grade as on 01.08.2025 (with certain conditions for those appointed through competitive examination).
    • Typewriting Test: Must have passed the typewriting test conducted by UPSC/SSC for confirmation in LDC grade (or obtained exemption with valid order).
    • Important Note: This is a Limited Departmental Competitive Examination. Freshers and candidates from other departments are not eligible.
