✅ CSIR Technician Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria:
- Educational Qualification: SSC / 10th standard / SSC or equivalent with Science subjects, with minimum 55% marks and ITI certificate or National / State Trade Certificate in the relevant trade.
- Age Limit (as on last date of submission of online application – 17.09.2026): Upper age limit not exceeding 28 years.
- Age Relaxation: SC/ST – 05 years | OBC (NCL) – 03 years | PwBD – 10 years (and other categories as per Government of India rules).
✅ CSIR Technician Salary 2026:
- Pay Matrix: Level-2 – ₹19,900 – 63,200/- (Group-C post).
- In addition to the basic pay, selected candidates will be entitled to Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Transport Allowance and other benefits as applicable to CSIR employees as per rules.

- Trade Test (Qualifying in nature)
- Competitive Written Examination consisting of Paper-I, Paper-II and Paper-III
Note: Paper-II and Paper-III will be evaluated only for candidates who secure the minimum threshold marks in Paper-I. Final Merit List will be prepared only on the basis of marks obtained in Paper-II and Paper-III. Minimum threshold marks for Trade Test and written papers will be fixed by the Selection Committee.
