✅ SLPRB AP Police Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria:
- Educational Qualification (as on 01.07.2026):
- SI (Civil) / RSI (AR) / SI (SPF): Any Degree from a recognised University. SC/ST candidates must have passed Intermediate and appeared for 1st and 2nd year degree exams if degree is not yet obtained.
- SI (Communications): Diploma / B.Tech in ECE, EEE, Computer Engineering, IT, or Special Diploma in Electronics, or 3-year B.Sc. Electronics.
- SI (PTO): Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Automobile Engineering.
- Scientific Assistant: M.Sc. (I or II Division) in Physics / Chemistry / Bio-Chemistry / Forensic Science / relevant biological science as specified.
- PC (Civil) / PC (AR) / Fireman: Intermediate or equivalent. SC/ST must have passed SSC and studied/appeared for both years of Intermediate.
- Warder (Men & Women): Intermediate or equivalent.
- PC (Communications): SSC + specified ITI, or Intermediate (MPC), or Vocational Intermediate in EET/ET.
- Constable (Mechanics): SSC + ITI in Wireman / MMV / Mechanic Diesel / Fitter.
- Constable (Drivers): Intermediate, or SSC + specified ITI, plus valid LMV licence held continuously for at least 2 years as on the date of notification.
- Age Limit (as on 01.07.2026):
- SI (Civil / AR / SPF / Communications / PTO): 21 to 27 years
- PC (Civil / AR / Communications / Mechanics): 18 to 24 years (32 years for eligible serving local Home Guards)
- Constable (Drivers): 18 to 27 years
- Fireman / Warder: 18 to 32 years
- Scientific Assistant (FSL): Up to 44 years
- Age Relaxation: EWS / BC (NCL) / SC / ST – up to 5 years; AP State Govt. employees – up to 5 years based on regular service; Ex-Servicemen / whole-time NCC Instructors – 3 years plus length of service; widows / divorced / judicially separated women (PC Civil & allied) – up to 42 years (SC/ST) and 37 years (others).
- Medical Standards: Distant vision 6/6 and Near vision 0/5 (Snellen) in both eyes, full field of vision. Colour blindness, squint and specified physical defects are disqualifications. Physically handicapped candidates are not considered for these posts.

Selected candidates will receive a stipend during institutional training. Regular pay scale will be given after successful completion of training.
✅ SLPRB AP Police Recruitment 2026 Selection Process:
- SI (Civil) / RSI (AR) / SI (SPF) and PC (Civil) / PC (AR) / Fireman / Warder: Preliminary Written Test (qualifying) → PMT → PET → Final Written Examination → Certificate Verification
- SI (Communications) / SI (PTO): Certificate Verification + PMT + qualifying 1600m run → Written Examination (English qualifying + Arithmetic & Reasoning + Technical Paper). Merit on 300 marks.
- PC (Communications): PMT + qualifying 1600m run + Technical Paper (200 marks)
- Constable (Mechanics / Drivers): PMT + qualifying 1600m run + Trade Test / Driving Test (qualifying, 100 marks, minimum 50) + Technical Paper (200 marks)
- Scientific Assistant (FSL): Single objective written exam (120 questions / 120 marks / 2 hours) + Certificate Verification. No physical test.
Minimum qualifying marks: OC / EWS – 40%, BC – 35%, SC/ST – 30%. No re-test will be conducted once an event is completed. Candidates applying for more than one post in the same notification need to submit only one application for that notification.
